Silver Streaks Mine Gold

at the Washington State Senior Games-July 23, 2011

 

Olympia WA:  Six fit athletes from the Victoria Crystal Silver Streaks took away a metric ton of gold medals from the YMCA pool in Olympia where the swimming competition for the Washington State Senior Games was held on July 24, 2011.  The team consisted of Don Robin, Carolyn Henderson, Sue and Brough Warren, Val Nevile Carter, and Dolores Odendahl. The relay team of Brough, Don, Val and Carolyn took home a gold medal also. The next event for these aquatic warriors will be the Peninsula Senior Games in Port Angles WA in late August where they plan on continuing to mine for gold.

Brough Warren, Val Nevile Carter, Carolyn Henderson and Don Robin were the winners of a gold medal for the 200 Free relay.  Oops, Leon caught Carolyn talking again.
